Same questions, same time

You and your opponent see the same question in the same second. A question closes when both players have answered or the time runs out, and the hardest questions get a longer timer. A right answer scores, and a faster right answer scores more. The player with more points at the end wins.

The weekly league: Bronze to Diamond

Every week you play in a group of players from your league. A win earns 3 points, a draw 1. At the end of the week the best players of the group move up a league and the bottom ones move down. The leagues are:

Bronze Silver Gold Platinum Diamond

Every Monday the top 3 of each group, and every player who moves up, receive lives and XP.

Challenge a friend

Send a challenge from your friends list. Your friend gets a notification, accepts, and the duel starts as soon as you are both there. Your first duels with the same friend each day also count for the league.

How to play a duel

Sign in to the app (duels need a free account).
Tap the Play button and choose Duel.
The app finds you a real opponent, and the duel starts with a 3, 2, 1 countdown.
Answer fast and right. The result and your league points show right at the end.

Frequently asked questions

Am I playing against real people?

Yes. Every duel is live against another Triviathlon player, answering the same questions at the same time.

Do I need an account for duels?

Yes, duels are for signed-in players. Creating an account is free (Apple, Google or email).

How are points counted?

Each right answer scores, and the faster you answer correctly, the more it is worth. Wrong answers and timeouts score nothing.

What do I win in the league?

League points move you up or down at the end of each week, from Bronze to Diamond. Every Monday the top 3 of each group and the players who move up receive lives and XP.

Can I duel my friends?

Yes. Challenge any friend from your friends list; they get a notification and the duel starts once you are both in.
